James Okafor

James Okafor is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over twelve years of experience in neurological rehabilitation and aged care. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) from Charles Darwin University and a Graduate Certificate in Neurological Rehabilitation. Based in Darwin, James has dedicated his career to improving access to quality exercise physiology services for regional and remote communities across the Northern Territory. He works extensively with clients living with Parkinson's disease, stroke, and acquired brain injury, and has a strong subspecialty in falls prevention and functional independence for older adults. James provides hybrid consultations and participates in regional outreach programs, travelling to remote communities where services are scarce. He is a trained falls prevention facilitator and works closely with GPs, neurologists, and aged care providers on integrated care plans.
